Enabling HSDPA
From Tilt Site Wiki
So you've heard about HSDPA, and that the Tilt has it, but it's not enabled by default(at least on the AT&T WM6 ROM). Here's a short tutorial on what it is, and how to enable it, the easy way.

[edit] What is HSDPA?
It stands for High Speed Downlink Packet Access(as opposed to High Speed Uplink Packet Access, or HSUPA) and is an enhancement of the "3G" wireless network(sometimes it's referred to as 3.5G, because of it's greatly enhanced speed over standard 3G/UTMS)
Essentially, it's just a software modification on how the radio accesses data from the towers, yet despite this, it has, on average, a 5 fold increase in speed over unmodified UTMS.
Keep in mind though that not all networks support HSDPA. Currently, AT&T does on their 3G-UTMS airwaves. For a complete list, see here.
[edit] How do I enable it?
The easiest way is to get a registry editing software such as Kaiser Tweak(the one I recommend). This is assuming your running the AT&T ROM(the HTC ROM option is under Settings -> Connections -> HSDPA -> "Turn on HSDPA").
Basically, just drag the executable Registry editor over to your Tilt(preferably in an easy to access location such as My Documents), then click the executable to launch. It takes a couple of seconds for Kaiser Tweak to launch. BE PATIENT!
Now Scroll down to the "Data(GRPS/EDGE/HSDPA/WIFI)" section, select "HSDPA" from the tree menu, then select "Enabled (Advised)" option from the drop down list. Then hit OK to exit the program
You'll have to do a Soft Reset(I recommend holding down the power button and hitting yes over pushing the recessed reset button the bottom of the phone).
[edit] Wa-La, you have HSDPA
That's all there is to it. Whenever you connect to a 3G network, you'll see an "H" pop up where the "3G" used to be but ONLY WHILE CONNECTED! If you're not connected to the MEdia Net, it will continue to show "3G"
